Spread over two massive climate-controlled indoor levels and an outdoor research deck, our exhibits guide you through Alaska's diverse ecosystems.

From toddler marine science series to overnight explorer camps, our education department inspires people of all ages to protect Alaska's seas.

Summer Ocean Explorer Camps

Introduce your child to real marine biology. Campers learn how our veterinarians treat patients, run experiments in our wet labs, and kayak Resurrection Bay. Available for grades 3 to 12.

Our physical address is 301 Railway Avenue, Seward, AK 99664. Centrally located at Mile 0 of the historic Seward Highway.

ASLC is committed to welcoming everyone. Our entire facility is fully wheelchair-accessible, including entry ramps, low exhibit viewing portals, and restrooms. Wheelchairs are available for complimentary loan at the front desk. Sensory packs and ASL translation are available with 48-hour advance booking.
